Gone but not forgotten
With my Corvette, Obsession. :cool
Yesterday I put about a hundred miles on it, both on freeway as well as surface streets around LA, and I managed to do it without having to call the AAA once! :L
I went out to the eastern San Fernando Valley yesterday to check out the Saturday cruise-in at the Fuddrucker's in Pasadena.
I was still a little apprehensive about going out that far yet. I still wasn't completely satisfied that everything was under control, and that I could trust it for any distance. I called other guys from around here to see if anyone would run out with me, but couldn't find any takers.
It turned out that the car ran absolutely the best it's run since it was in stock form, in the sense that it was running cool, it was charging properly, it wasn't leaking, and it was starting dependably.
It is however, much more powerful than it was when it was stock. It hauls as well as it handles!
I had a ball!
