Keyless Entry and Anti-Theft

I want to install a keyless entry system to my 1985. Can anyone advise how the anti-theft will get along with this? It seems that it will be activated whenever the door is unlocked without the key. Can it be bypassed?

I put a "Code Alarm" system in my 89. It provided remote locks remote start and etc,'

It also had clear instructions on linking woith the vehicles stock anto theft system.

Any remote lock system should have similar instructions, check first. Possibly contacting the mfg. (in advance) of whatever system you want to use/

Does Corvette Have a Good Alarm?

The alarm system in a Corvette is easy for a thief to defeat. All you have to do is push an ice pick or hammer a long screwdriver through the battery and the gills in the side give convenient access. I only mention it because I am told most of the car thieves already know this and owners should know about it too.
