seat adjuster

Rob, Why is GM taking such a hard postion on them paying for the seat adjuster problems on the 1997-98's. They TSB didn't even come out until early 2002. GM dealership wants 743.00 for the adjuster. This should be a warranty part. My 1998 only has 19,000 miles on it. The bolsters are worn out . I have bought new skins for that problem. But I don't think I should have to pay for a faulty seat adjuster !!!!!! Who do I talk to about this. Any information would be appreciated. jameslopez86@hotmail.com

James,

I can't speak on how GM handles warranty, service bulletin, or campaign work. I only poast the service bulletins here on the site for reference as I get them.

You may want to post your question in the C5 Tech Forum if you haven't already done so and maybe someone in there could provide you with better information than I can, or contact Chevrolet Customer Service and see what they say. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
