I've not tried the Kumho Run Flats,But I put Kumho Ecsta ASX's on my C5 over 3 years ago and 44,000 miles and there still Quieter and more Stable on wet roads than the Goodyear's ever were!!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

is your c5 9.5 inthe front and 10-11 wide in back?

i'm running the 245-50's in the kuhmo and have had good luck with them.only reason i went to a lower tire is to tell the truth the price of the 255's were high and hard to find had a flat at my dads place about a year ago and this little town he lives in only has a small gas station, guy was able to fix the tire well enough to get me home but guess what? the only tire he had in stock was 245-50-16/ a lot of the guys in my club kinda give me a hard time for not running the stock size but i like the lower ride hight i get with the 245's with out changing or adding anything undreneath the car. im sure the kuhmo's will work out ok without having to pay the premium price goodyear charges for them. i dont think Zora would roll over in his grave if you gave them a try. mine for the whole set ran a little over 400.00 course they arent z rated but its good enough for autocross & light saloam anyway good luck!

A friend of mine with a 2006 C6 (F55) vert went with the Firestone wide oval run flats. He likes them a lot better than the GY's. (Quieter and the ride is better, he says.) $900.00 for the set...with roadside protection.

I put the Kumho ASX's on my 03 Z-51!! Front wheels are 8.5 inches X 17 with 245/45/ZR17 stock size tires,Rears are 9.5 inch X 18 with 275/40/ZR18 stock sized tires!! My Z06 I put Firestone Wide Ovals on it just because Kumho didn't make the stock sizes and I wouldn't put a Goodyear even on a Boat Trailer!!:thumb:thumb:thumb Goodyear wear Terribly, are Noisy as Hell,Ride Rough as a Hay Wagon and are Slippery when Wet!!:ugh:ugh:ugh

After 44,000 miles,the Kumho's are still Quite,Smooth,Stable on Standing Water,and I can still hear my Stereo!!:thumb:thumb:thumb

P.S. I did change my alignment settings to my own spec's and had the Kumho's Road Force balanced!!:thumb

Junk is on to something. I got 50k miles out of the fronts but only 30k miles out of the rears with the Kumho ASX's on my C5. The fronts could have gone another 10k but I needed some light snow turning capability the past few months... I have NO idea why the rear tires didn't last longer (spin, spin, wink, wink)

Would be interested in that info also, have c6 and I like the prices but didnt find run-flats for the rear?
My tire guy shows kumo ecsta asx (ku31) 245/40/18 and (ku31)285/35/19
these are non run-flat #'s but he does show run-flats for the frt. dont think mixing would prob be a good deal for the handling. Do you have a tire # for the rear in a run-flat?

thanks
