Just rebuilt my throttle body and looking for any hints or tricks to adjust the IAC Valve and TPS sensor. Have the factory manual and it has a lot of detail, but wanted to see if anyone here has any tricks they learned along the way.

The IAC valve doesn't need to be adjusted, I don't believe. When I would check my TPS on my '87, I used that test harnes Mid-A sells. I thought it was really handy.

I inserted a couple of straight pins into the Black and Dark Blue wires coming off the TPS. Then I just hooked up the multimeter to these pins and adjusted the sensor to the proper voltages at Idle and WOT. You can buy a pigtail which does the same thing for $20 bucks or so but I'm cheap.
