Laffette replacement antenna?

Gonna try a non OEM auto antenna form Laffette that is suppose to fit my 93. Has anyone tried one of these? The one from MADVET is $134 with shipping. This is $64.00 with shipping. The original did not last long. I put a replacement mast and that worked for a while. Had it apart and fixed once, again it worked for a while...now...it's dead!

Dont know anything about this brand!!! Just installed a G.M. ant. for a friend in his 93, he got it for (garage price) 124.00 I think all GM parts come with a warrantee??????? thats worth something!!!!!!!:L

Well, the antenna bolted up just fine. The mast I had to mess with a little and took the most time figure out. The wiring was fairly simple. I had to use the old rubber mount piece for the body. The universals they give you look like junk. Some savings here if you don't mind taking the time.
