After checking out a C4, what is considered too bad/expensive to fix?

Great job with the evaluation form located on the Learning Center portion of this forum. I do expect that most cars I evaluate will not pass 100%. I guess my question is what problems on the C4 series are things a newbee needs to move away from. Fixing a digital dash for $300 is not bad for me. What problems are considered problems too expensive. (example: frame is bent in locate unable to fix) Listed below are things I saw on the eval sheet. Should I still purchase a car if any of the things listed below are bad?

Clutch not replaced (cost to replace ??)
Car sides not appear aligned (cost ??)
Paint oxidation
Stress cracks/waves (cost ??)
Brakes (scarring)
Rod ends/ball joints (cost ??)
Bad Shocks (cost ??)
Dash operation (~$300.00)
Is Air Filter clean (if dirty...??)
Steady idle ( if car idle un-stable then what??? $$ )
Exceptional wind noise
Battery bad conditon (if so what does that indicate)

Most thing I can fix myself. I am not sure if the C4 models have something special regarding some item simple to fix on other car but may be costly for a vette. (example: I was told that you can not jack up a C4 with a normal floor jack..car is too low to ground, All tops/soft tops leak water).

It is tough to make a list like this for a used car...

What year C4 are you going after, and how many miles? for example A car with 40k miles that was not driven hard wouldn't need a new clutch, so the list would need to be modified per car.

what do you mean by car sides not aligned?

the rest of the list are mostly wear and tear items.... it is really a judgment thing. If you are looking at a car that has everything up to date and fixed, the owner was probably a good one, and the car well maintained... on the flip side, if some of the things are bad, the car may be far cheaper.

I am not sure what is meant by "car sides not aligned?"
This was one if the items on the check list.

Probably the fender cracks being uneven or chipped from touching and rubbing. This could indicate a previous poorly repaired accident.
