Question: LED dash lights or electronic using a PI 3 to operate all switches

redoing a 1981 corvette and will not go back original. I am going to do some custom work. I want to change the dash gauges and remove the center dash cluster. I have seen several LED units on corvette sites but would prefer to go electronic like the new cars using a PI 3 computer and touch screen. Has anyone attempted this or other LED styles?

I've seen digital dashboards in retro rebuilds,so they are probably out there.try jegs,or perhaps another aftermarket supplier.
