Left brake lie not working

Left brake light not working

When i push in the brake on my 62, the right lights show up but the left side only works sometimes. I checked the wire connections and they look good. Thanks hank

Hank, I can almost guarantee you it is the turn signal apparatus. Had this problem for years with my '59. It's mostly caused by the turn signal lever not returning to center and this affects current to the lights. Drove me crazy for years -- I rebuilt my own turn signal cup a couple of times and finally just ended up buying a complet new one from Corvette Centeral. Problem solved, not that expensive and haven't had an issue with it since.
