Lightweight seats

I've been working on my 1968 roadster for the last 30 years.

Probably will never get it right!

Posted a few photos a few months ago (black Shark).

The car is down to just over 2800 lbs, even with the 502 Ram Jet installed.

For the last 20 years I've had Ricaro seats installed. They are too high and too forward. They are also heavy.

Any insight as to what would be a lower and more "back" seat that would also be lightweight?

BARRIE, i have 79-82 style seats in my car. they seem fairly light. i have hauled them in and out a few times. can't give you a weight .but they don't seem too bad.
