Rich,

I recognize a lot of those cars from WGI. At WGI they have a racecar cruise into town with about 200 cars parked on the street downtown. The cars also do 2 laps on the original street course. It is awesome. Does Lime Rock have anything like this ? Due to gas prices I'm skipping the funfest and thinking about making a trip to LR this weekend. What day is best ?

Bob,

Here is the link to the schedule for Lime Rock: http://www.limerock.com/news_vintageSchedule.html

Friday and Saturday are pretty much practice and qualifying and most of the racing takes place on Monday. Since they can't race on Sunday that is the day when they have their car show. So, which day is the best depends on what you want to see. I don't know of a cruise being scheduled by the track itself although there might be a club which has one.

Take a bunch of pics if you go Gerry. Love those vintage racers.

Tom

Tom, I took a slew (400 ) of pics about .3 gigs. Where and how can I post them as they are too big for the site and I don't have a web site of my own. Any help.

Best regards,
Gerry

Gerry,

There are many places but I use Sony Image Station.

It's free and you can store as many pictures there as you want and sort them out into different albums by topic or whatever. Then you can invite others to see them or post a link to that album or even restrict viewing of certain albums if it's just for family ect. I have used them for a few years now.

Tom

Thanks Tom, as soon as I load them to a disk and bring them to work I'll put them on sony image station.

Best regards,
Gerry
