Liquid Glass

I'm been using Liquid Glass since 1987. I love it. I continue to use it.

About the only other thing I do is a little final touch up at shows with "Showtime". Otherwise, Liquid Glass is all I use. No wax, not even in my carwash soap.

LG is nice as a polish, but it gives no protection that's offered by a good quality wax. There are two differetn products. If you want a polish, LG is very nice but if you are looking for a wax it's not one.

If you want to use the LG I'm still follow up on a good quality wax as a protection layer

I agree. Mothers Liquid Carnuba is very easy to use and offers the protection of pure wax.

Thanks for the replies

I have purchased and used the liquid glass, and it produced a great shine. In a warm garage I got a bit of cardio in there too.

I'll have to do a search for the proper use of polishes and waxes. Not sure if I need a wax job, if I'm not in the seat, the car is in the garage.

Thanks for the insight folks.

Doesn't LG have mild abrasives in it though?

I have been calling the Liquid Glass people for years and they keep giving me the NO answer...NO Abrasives....thats the same answer Sal Zaino keeps giving me also about his product:) ...go figure:w

I used it for years on a plastic roof with no dulling or hazing. I believe the no abrasives claim.

I have used Liquid Glass Polish since 1979 and it works the best especially for removing scratches and hiding swirls. Best one application there is and repeated coatings enhances protection.

I've used it for years and with good results.I've always felt it was mildly abrasive. It does build up coats and holds for months.I feel it works best on lighter colors.

I used it for over 10 years on one car then I switched to Klasse AIO and Klasse sealant still looked great but in a different way except it showed every mark and swirl n scratches on car so now I will go back to Liquid Glass Polish on that car.

I had an older Porsche with less than perfect black paint. Liquid Glass worked very well in improving and maintaining the paint. For the past two years I have been using Zaino on my two black cars and really find it hard to beat. However, since Liquid Glass likes to "cure" in the sun (heat) I am going to use it on all horizonal surfaces of my two cars, and continue using Zaino on the sides. I would recommend LG to anyone.

Vett boy,

Why lighter colors?

I have been using LG since 1979 now it is a gold can with a pink Corvette on it. Does a great job of removing scratches n swirls. On one of my cars that is 18 years old I have put tons of coats of LG on it. Then one day I put Klasse AIO and Klasse Sealant on it and it exposed every swirl and scratch on the car. It still looked good but in a different way but I will be switching back to LGP and it works great for scratch removal regardless of whatever type of polish you use.
