I'm not an expert, but I know you can't use some types of sealant with the tire pressure system sensors.

That's true, and there's no mention of it in the article. I wonder if it will work? Supposedly since the sealent stays wet inside the tire. Can the tire monitor systems be disabled?

I wouldn't want to disable mine, especially since I was quoted a price of $200 PER sensor.
 
Two reasons I would not use this stuff:
1) It will eventually disable the sensors. I have heard of people using fix a flat and having the sensor live for a while (1 month -2years), but why risk it in all four wheels at once.
2) The added unsprung weight is a killer in a sports car. Weight is the enemy and unsprung weight is the worst weight. It will affect the suspension response, acceleration, ride and handling.
