Ok guys I am kind of new to the vette hobby. I looked a 73 to-day over-all seems to be in good shape non numbers matching has creat engine. Problem is why are there gabs 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch between the doors and the front fender. Is the frame rotten or or ????

It's most likely because the pillar posts are rotted out, as well as the windshield frame. Have the seller remove the kick panels in the foot wells to let you inspect them. Dollars to donuts it's full of rust. If so, run away. Do not consider this car at any price. :(

Thanks for your feed back, How difficult is it to remove the kick panels, The seller says it was a frame off restoration around 5 years ago and at that time the frame only had a few pin holes, if a frame has a few pin holes is that not a rotten frame.

Action Vette,

I suggest you get rid of the crap in your profile in terms of location and interests, before I remove your account from this system. Those fields are there upon registration for a reason.

The kick panels come off after lifting the sill plates and removing the panel retaining screw at the front.

A frame with pin holes is a rotten frame in my book. Means it's a solid as swiss cheese. Time to run away.

Looks like our friend George was amusing himself again. Pretty good for somebody that types with one hand.
