...really Damn that sux.. thanks for all the help guys.. i had a 6 speed trans am 2001 and sold it and got a 1999 auto trans am, the auto with a shift kit is faster then a 6 speed. thats why i want a auto..

ill keep looking then. thanks again

.. haha no im ok i can shift just fine.. a auto with stall converter and shift kit will always be faster then the same car with a manual. no one can shift as fast as a shift kit its proven..

There's alot of people out there that can drive a stick but then there's some that can really pound some gears. IMO automatic's and spray takes something out of racing or "fast car" claims. Might as well put a remote control on the car and sit on the curb. :boogie

Welcome aboard. Enjoy !!!! :beer

Welcome to the site and good luck in your quest.
We've been throwing the idea around of selling our pewter 99 FRC w/ 39k miles (but need about 22k for it). Sounds like you need an auto though.

You plan on racing it?

Tammy

22 is a lil steep for a 1999. im lookin at a 2002 with 68,000 for 20,995. i can prob talk him down to around 19,500-20,000 cash. thanks though

NO,NO,NO. You can come across a great deal, you just have to have a little luck on your side and alot of restraint ! I bought both mine in excellent condition from two upstanding people that didn't try to squeeze me for big buck's. There are still people out there that don't have to get as much as they for a car when they sell it. When I decide to make a change I'm going to do the same, work with someone who's maybe is buying a first vette. Like that movie, Pay it forward. I'm not rich by no means but at this point in my life I can afford to be more relaxed. What goes around comes around!:pat

its that cheap cause it has almost 100,000 miles. The guy told me that it has 92,000. imma step up and get a 2002 Z06 instead it has 105,000 its at a dealership looks great just has some miles on here, a older guy traded it in on a regulare 2006 corvette. they want 17,995 for it cause it has so many miles ill prob buy it and put 50,000 on it then throw some headers, new internals and a supercharger or Twin turbo. i think i want a manual again they are a lil more fun even through in big cities they get a lil annoying.

Bobs vette sell me your 99 lol. ill deal with you.. :) thanks for your help its nice having a couple people actually tryin to help you and give you good feedback.. then the guys saying no no no its to cheap somethings broke.. sometimes if u look you will find good deals and good people..

Listen to gmjunkie, don't get to hasty in closing a deal, that sure sounds auful cheap for an 02. Buy a stick you will be glad you did. . . . . . . Just my 2 cents worth for what it's worth if anything.

Good luck,
Bill
