Looking for early history of my airbox racer

1957 Corvette Airbox #4229 was assembled around May 25, 1957, but we haven't tracked it's first stop when it left the GM plant and where it was until August, 1960. If you have any memory of this car, I would sure love to hear from you. Thanks! Tom

First off a welcome is in order here. Nice 57! I can't help you but I hope you find some info to help you on your search.

suggest you contact Jim Gessner who tracks the old race cars - he may NOT have information himself but can point you in the correct (right) direction, would also suggest you contact John St. Peter who is the 1956-57 NCRS National Team Leader as NCRS pretty much has most of the history on every airbox car known, I believe
