Hello Rare 81,
You responded to my question about the trim plate. Well, I was wondering if you could help me a little more. My problem is that the trim plate does not align with the top gauge cluster. I got the side panels off Ok and installed all the components on the trim plate, but the new trim plate is about 5/8 of an inch to the left of the top gauge cluster and I cannot see how to make the two line up. I can't move the dash because its tight in place and the trim plate is screwed to two steel plates that seem to be spot welded( I think) in place.
Here is a picture of what I mean...
_________

l cluster l
l______ _ l

Sorry about the drawing, but my computer skills are quite limited. Thanks for any help.
