Question: Lose Wiper Spring

Question, :confused On my 1988 C4.. the springs on the Windshield Wipers are off (just hanging there).. How do you reinstall them.. I tried too... but they are pertty stiff and I was not able to pull them (I used a vise grip to hold and pull, tried a long rod) on !?

You may have to remove the arms to get the springs hooked up.That will take the tension off the springs.
Not really sure how to take them off, many use a snap clip that swings out. They do come off a little hard if they haven't ever been off. They may even have a tool to pry them off. I do wonder how they came loose.

The whole arms come off very easy.. but I still have not been able to stretch the spring enough to attach the spring its holding points.

Anyone ??
