rough idle
I, too, have an LT-1 (1993) with a rough idle at approximately the same RPM parameters that you are experiencing. My Vette has over 100,000 miles on the clock, so I decided to try a suggestion I received from a fellow Corvette club member. I purchased a can of throttle body cleaner and spent considerable time alternately spraying the cleaner into the TB opening per directions and then wiping the area clean. This procedure seemed to help for a short period of time; however, the rough idle is beginning to return once again. I did this some 10,000 ago, so maybe I need to revisit the procedure. If you decide to try this process, be sure to use cleaner that is specifically designed for throttle bodies and not carb. or injector cleaner.
