Low Coolant Module Location

I have a 1986 Coupe and cannot locate the "Low Coolant Module". I have the service manual but it has not been a help. Can someone please point me in the right direction?? Thanks in advance.

I believe it's screwed into the radiator just below the cap. There's a single wire that clips to it.

Thanks for responding, but you are referring to the sensor which is where you indicate. I need to locate the Low Coolant Module. It is probably under the dash somewhere. But I don't even know what it looks like.

Just what exactly does this low coolant module do? And why do you need to find it?

It apparantly works in conjunction with the low coolant sensor that is in the radiator. I replaced the sensor and my "low coolant light" continues to light up even though the coolant level is good. According to the service manual I need to check the module. It must be some sort of relay used by the idiot light in the dash.

My low coolant light has been coming on lately. I have checked the level and alls well. It does this only part of the time. Maybe I need to check into this module. This is the first I have heard about it. Try private messaging the paul the c4c5specialist. He is great with these cars. He could probably tell you no problem.

Oops, sorry. As I look in my manual, I see what you're asking about - and no, they don't really say where it is, do they? Have you traced that green level probe wire back from the radiator?

I think I now know

I looked at some threads that showed up at the bottom of this page and I think I found the answer. It apparantly is behind the dash on the passenger side. I have everything off the dash at this point except that large pad. I guess it is coming off next. Thanks for your help.
