Hi!
I'm C4, 1995 owner.
Recently I have put new tires on my Vette.
A few days later on the control panel appeared "low/flat tire".
Every time I start the car It appears after approx. 1 min.
Does anybody knows why does It appears and how to make It disappears?:cry

You probably have a low tire. I believe the low tire comes on at approx. 25 lbs. Air"em' up & the light will go out.

No, It's not a problem.
I tried to pump them but nothing happened.

The tire store broke one of your ltps sensor.>George

sensors are strapped around each of your rims, a careless tire jockey can easily bust them :(

I've just been through all this. If a sensor has been damaged, you will see "Service LTPWS". I would make sure you have an accurate gauge and check all the tires. Set them to at least 30 psi just to be sure the sensor is not setting off at a higher setting than it is supposed to. It is not supposed to come on if PSI is higher than 25.
Unfortunately tire installers are not as careful with sensor equipped wheels as they should be, often because they don't even know your wheels have them. I suspect yours are OK, and you really do have one of more low tires. A lot of tire pressure gauges are very inaccurate.
A quality digital gauge would be a good investment.
Hope this helps, and that your sensors have not been damaged. In my case the tire store had to replace the sensor they broke two times; the first replacement did not work.

:eek

vuk me, it's good to hear from our croation friend again. How did you make out with your mufflers?

A low/flat tire is unfortunately still shining(the pressure is ok). Can I take off some safety fuse and switch off the low/flat tire light?

About mufflers, I cut them down and now it's enough noisy. The sound is very deep and It's a music I like.
Greeting to USA!

vuk,

read out the DTCs by connecting DLC terminal 6 to 5 to flash LTPWS. Look for 23, 33, 43, 53 or 24, 34, 44, 54. All codes will be preceded with DTC 12. DTC 99 is possible receiver fault.

Afterwhich, Clear DTCs by grounding DLC terminal 6 to 5, three times in ten seconds. Receiver/control module will confirm that its memory has been cleared by illuminating both the "L0W/FLAT TIRE" and "SERVICE LTPWS" lamps at the same time. Both lamps will remain ON until the ignition is turned to the OFF position and then back to "ON".

Make a couple of drive cycle tests.

Uhh, what is DTC and DLC terminal and can I make it alone?

Click on your name to the left (vuk) to open your profile. Click on edit profile (you) then edit options. Go down to the bottom and click on change avatar. You can pick one of the provided ones or make your own by uploading a file 110x110 from your hardrive using a digital picture. I think...

Sorry. DTC is an abbreviation for Diagnostic Trouble Code. DLC stands for Data Link Connector or also called ALDL- Assembly Line Data Link. It looks like this and is under the driver side dash, right side of the steering wheel. Note pins 5 and 6 in the top row of the picture ( from 1 left to 8 right).

Not sure about a 95 but If you pull the cruise control fuse on my 93 it disables the low tire system and no lights come on. Hope this helps.

One more question.
Does the cruise control fuse disables anything else?

Vuk:
Why don't you try clearing the trouble code (as Kopbet explained) before you disable two useful features of your car? Or maybe you have no need for cruise control and the low pressure warning system?
Just a suggestion......
