The part you are looking for is a standard GM piece. They have them in stock. Bought all srews and the plastic push in retainers from the Chevy dealer for mine just a few months ago.

Thanks. I went through Ecklers, MID AM, ZIP, Corvette Central and no one has them listed online.
I try to avoid the stelaerships here in Hawaii as I pay for their shipping costs etc in whatever I buy it seems.
So the lower screws, 7mm heads, screw into a plastic push in retainers?

Nope, they arent flare screws. they are metirc 7mm heads, with regular threads. I just found one laying on the ground and saw that few were gone, hey, its been 140000 miles and lowered 2 inches so I have been down there lately :)
If they are the plastic inserts and the screws tighten into them, I need the plastic nylon pieces, like in your doors where the panels are screwed into?

Are these screws running along the bottom of the rocker? Like where you jack it up at?

The nylon/plastic inserts are the same for the rocker moldings and the srews that secure the console sides. This part is used in alot of GM cars. Even though you don't like the dealrs, Part # from Chevy should be 1377030, nut, group 8.921, cost is approx. 90 cents ea.

I found some screws. I had a interior screw kit hidden in a tool box. So the plastic pieces are the 1377030 number?
I looked up the part number and it says 20 per package from GM, at 58 cents.Ecklers want 99 each item. I guess I need to go to the delaership and get some. here in Hawaii it usually is very expensive.
You would think these would be available at a regular parts store.

I doubt you have a PEP Boys there in Hawaii, they have the part, saw them Friday when I was looking for other stuff.

The dealer gets them in bulk they may charge accordingly if they have to open the bag. My statement shows my cost at .70 cents list is .90 cents

We have checkers/Oreillys, napa, and redline which is a really good parts dealer for AC Delco (I need to cross reference the number)

I will call one of them tomorrow, after redline as they give military a good discount.

Where are these screws going that you are talking about? Along the bottom of the rocker? Or inside after you open the door? I believe the bolts going along the bottom of the rocker are machine screws in my 89. Just like in that link I posted.

Josh, they are the ones on the bottom, and as I stated earlier, mine are different screws, only because someone, Callaway, painted my car years ago and may have changed them then.

Went to a local dealership here in Hawaii. They didnt want to break the bag open, had none in stock, and wanted 36 bucks. Ouch.
I only need a bag. I may just ask my Friend to go to a dealer on the mainland and ship them in an envelope. Insane the cost for some things out here.
