Hi I'm taking the front spring out of my 93 corvette to cut and mount the lowering wedges. Couple of questions. How close did you cut the rubber down on top of spring? Totally off or just close to spring? What glue did you use.a two part epoxy? I was thinking of cutting rubber on top down to say 1/16" then sanding down as far as I could then using razor blade to get down to spring itself,sanding top of spring lightly with say 400 grit and glue wedges directly on spring. Is this a good Idea?
