I doubt that's the Blue Devil engine. It's way too short, for one thing - that's smaller than an LS1. And it has a flexplate on the back, obviously intended for an automatic transmission, not a manual. Maybe that's the engine intended for the new CTS-V.
 
Isn't it nice to see Chevrolet firmly entrenched in the super car wars and not just following along a few years late? The Corvette is the leader at a fraction of the price of the competition.
