Need info, can someone tell me what years the Lt1 engine was built for...Scooter

I believe there were two versions of the Lt1.The first was from 1970-72 and the later for the C-4`s were built from 1992-96.Starting in 92 the Lt1 produced 300hp.out the showroom this was a 55hp increase from the old L98 engine.

in the C4, it was 92-96......

in the C3, wasn't it 70-72..??

In the 80`s the vette engines ran like this 82-84 was the L83.1985 Corvettes thru 91 were L98.unless your talking about the ZR1 Which is a whole different car.

ok tks for the info, by the way was the ZR1 twin turbo.

The twin turbo corvette was a callaway modified 88-91 (I believe these years are correct). It was a factory option (RPO B2K i believe).

The ZR1 was an option 89-95. It has the LT5 engine. 385hp 89-92 and 405 horsepower 93-95.
