I think that I may be overly sensitive regarding the clutch issue but it seems to fully engage a little to far up. I may be used to the old mechanical clutches from when I was a kid driving the 65 GTO and others. Anyway, it starts to engage about three inches off of the floor and finishes about 1 1/2 inches from the top. Is this right? It always hooks up well. I can even start out in 2nd with no slipping. The car is in great shape overall with 30,500 miles on it.

Your thoughts please.

Mark

Mine feels the same (and so did my '93) as long as it engages smooth and there is no slippage, you should be ok. When the clutch starts to go, the first sign will be a vibration while trying to back up an incline (most of the time anyway)

Thanks for the responses. I am glad to hear that mine is more or less "normal".

Best,
Mark
