Got my LT4 on the dyno yesterday, results;

  • 310.2 RWHP / 316.6 RWTQ (Stock Motor w/ Mufflers Deleted, larger Diameter MAS, TB Flow booster, MAS Intake Flow couplers)
  • 324.6 RWHP / 328.7 RWTQ (Added SLP AIR INTAKE)
  • 345.1 RWHP / 351.4 RWTQ (Final Mapping Tune)
I like it :D The car is MUCH more responsive! Can't wait to hit the drag strip next weekend. Also have 315 wide drag slicks, Hoping for a big improvement!:Steer

Man...that's awfully lean for WOT.

The engine's going less liable to detonate or burn pistons/valve... and it will make more power if you get it down to about 12.8.

Hib, these numbers are post "Cat", the dyno lab has done extensive tests that show his numbers pre & post cat are a minimum of 0.5 higher. So that puts it at 12.7 to 13.1 ... which is where he found the best power.

OK, a dummy question here, why does the Catayltic converter do that??:W
