Hello-- I was sent here by Toms94. It looks like a nice place to get answers. I am always amazed at the "Corvette" people, and how helpful they are. I was in need of a solution to a problem with the #8 spark plug and it's wire. I couldn't get the wire off, much less get the old plug out and the new one in. Now I know why they recommend a 100,000 mile replacement. To make a long story short, with their guidance and suggestions, along with pictures and encouragement, the job is finally done.
I ended up jacking up the engine on the passenger side by removing the nut on the motor mount, and that allowed sufficient room to get my hand in there. Along with a short piece of 3/8 hose on the plug, and leaning over the engine from the driver's side, I was able to use my left hand and thread in the new plug.

With all the help from the people on these forums, it made a difficult job "bearable". Thanks a million times!!! :)

You are very welcome! I am happy to see you have a happy ending to your journey.

A little anti-seize lubricant on the threads of the new plug does wonders to start it in the hole easily.

SAVE THE :w

Well, Welcome over here. I'm glad that you were able to get the job done. I think that you'll find lots of great people here, and someone always can answer your questions.:w
