Sherry, the max. rec. weight for the luggage rack is about 50 lbs. (+/- 10) :eek


Factory for 77. You need the T-Top holder attachment & the rack has "pins" for it.

T-Tops will stay on at 100+ cruise.

Thanks for the info, Ganey Maybe I'll look into getting such a t-top holder attachment, if any aftermarket companies manufacture 'em.

Vette Specialties has aftermarket ones, and also has a rack if you need that also. They are a little expensive.

Thanks for the tip, Mike. Yes, $295 seems a bit pricey for a pair of stainless steel metal brackets, but if nobody else carries them, it's a matter of pay up or put up (or maybe manufacture them oneself )

No luggage rack....... flatback and will stay that way, that is why they are not all red.

I got mine from Glenn Bodie for about $200 with shipping. These do not require the factory pins on the luggage rack and are supposed to install on any of the racks.

I just check mine occasionally and never worry about them. They have been on the back of the car on extended 70 mph drives as well as twisty mountain roads.
