luggage rack

good morning all.

i want to put a luggage rack (factory gm) on the 93 convertable that we bought last fall. does anybody know if this will affect anything such as noise levels or air flow onto the back of our heads with the top down? thanks!! rod

I have a factory installed luggage rack on my car so I have nothing to compare it with but I doubt that you will notice any difference at all or it might make it a little faster. They sure do look nice though, in my opinion.

thanks i think i'll try one...still available from my dealer. still have a while before i can get it out of the garage, have about 3 feet of snow in the front yard.

first Welcome to my vette has a luggage rack and it doesnt have any effect on the wind or the noise, Just make sure that it doesnt hang up the top going up and down

One of our members, Jim Martley, has installed the GM luggage rack on his two '93 convertibles, and they love it...no complaints at all! They sure look good, also, as well as providing the Martleys with luggage space as they travel all over New England during show season.

Go for it!
