How can you determine if this ride control feature is actually working? I don't notice any instrument or other indication when switching from Tour to Sport and back.

With my '03 AE, I noticed a much improved ride in Tour compared to Sport.

How does your car ride?

Car rides smooth and solid. I think I notice a difference with 'sport' but with the 'babysmooth' roads here it is hard to tell. Over time I expect it will be more obvious. Thanks for the input.

Unless the self test says there's something wrong or you see the shocks leaking, they are probably working as they should.
The only why to know which mode you're in is to look at the switch - beats my CTS V which doesn't tell me except when I change modes and only for a few seconds them. Then again the CTS V always starts in Tour and I have to put it in Sport.

Find a railroad crossing and drive over it both ways in Tour and Sport - you should notice a difference.

Next is to autocross it. Sport will make for faster runs. I see this in my C6 also and the differences between Tour and Sport in the C6 (and the V) are less pronounced than the feel in the C5.
