I started the removal last night. So far I've got the Borla exhast dropped and the passengers side manifold removed 5 hours of work so far. Tomarrow night will be the drivers side turn. Now thats supposed to be the fun part because the stearing shaft is in the way. It looks like only one nut connects it to the stearing wheel side so I'll mark the orientation, disconnect that side and zipp tie it out of the way. Then there will be alot more room to work in. Just make sure you have plenty of 1/4 3/8 1/2 extensions and swivels and gear wrenches. You'll need them. And almost everything is metric. You will use 6,8,10,15mm often. I should be done by this weekend. The funny thing is, I've been a member of the largest corvette club in Houston. Out of 250 members I'm the only one in the club with a ZR-1. I've put out the word if anybody from the club would like to help me that the beer and pizza would be on me. So far no takers. Such loyalty HaHaHa.

if i wasnt so far away . i am apizza addict. are you putting on headers or just replacing the manifolds/cats ?

Man, I would love to help you. I am way up in Chicago, home to some of the finest pizza in the free world.

I would love to try some of your Texas pizza. :upthumbs

Good luck with your project.

SAVE THE :w

Hey brad, what's up. Yeah I'm putting on the stock headers I bought from corey. Man I would love to put Jeal headers on with Corsa exhaust. And have my injecter housings ported. And my intake ported and polished. But my wife became a registered nurse a year ago. So we are playing catch up with student loans and mortgage ect. By next fall we will be caught up with everything. Maybe then.

Hey itman, I was in Chicago for 2 weeks one time. It was bone chilling cold. I walked from the John Handcock building to the Sears Tower and went to the top. I'll never forget that. Chicago and New York have the best Pizza. Barbacue and mexican food is real big down here. Almost everything has hot peppers and chili in it.

guess you hadnt heard , i lost deb and the twins to an accute case of toximia. i happened so darn fast,
took her to the hospital and they flew her out to loma linda 20min after we got there and she passed away on the way there .ehs did get to write me a little letter , that has kept me going . she was the most fun loving lady i have ever known as you could gather from her little pranks that i shared . i cant put into words , how vacant i feel . but she wanted me to finish the work we started here . and the best way i can honor her is to finish it and keep that happy caring attitude she brought out in me .. thankfully its spring the course is greening up and stufff is breaking all over the place , so i am way too busy , but it keeps me from sitting all alone and thinking god knows what.sure glad jeff got your car running well. what was wrong ? sure hope one day we can meet and beat that little white ball and enjoy our cars .
