ok this might be a rough one right now my dual fans are run thermostatically, however I want to be able to keep them on with a switch I know how to do this, I plan to use my factory rear window defogger switch, but how can I bypass the timer on the system and still make it so the little light in the switch comes on while the fans are on, also Im guessing the timer is the only way to shut this switch off so how do I defeat this

this one will keep ya busy for the weekend

Jeff,

I asked the same question from a Vette mechanic friend of mine. Since my'81 and your '82 are the first Computer Controlled engines, I was told that by installing a manual switch could/would change the readings and throw off the computer. Could likely make the enginer run much worse. Just a thought before you move ahead.

Regards........... Nut
