Master Cylinder Problem

Hello, I just have a question about Master Cylinders, I have a 1981 Coupe with a new Brake Booster/Master Cylinder Set-up, And the master cylinder is leaking in the location of where the master cylinder bolts to the Booster, on the bottom side. What could be wrong with the master cylinder? Is it time to replace it? or can it be rebuilt? Any help or suggestions would be really be helpful. I really want to drive her real soon! thanks, Cone

The rear piston seal in the master cylinder is leaking; if the bore is OK, you can get a kit and rebuild it. If the bore isn't perfectly smooth, replace it (or have it sleeved and rebuilt).
