Forgive me, but I still think the c-5 convertible is better looking. I AM jealous about the new engine and interior though. Maybe it will grow on me, but for now I will keep my c-5 and continue saving for an eventual zo6 (or better) engine swap.

;stupid

Still looks like a C5,
Wouldn't kick it out of the garage :)

The C5 in vert form is a beatiful car. But I really believe that you will find love again in the form of a C6 vert. I have no doubt that it will look as stunning.

I want to see it in person. The rear still looks funny, the front looks like a cross between a Ford Tarus and Dodge Viper, the interior pictures dont look that impressive. I never thought the interior of the C5 was cheap.

I still like the looks of the C4 best, wish it had the ride of the C5.

The rear....kinda looks like a GT308 Ferrari...

When I first saw the pictures of the C6, I thought it was a really hot car. I like the front and the sides, but the back is too high, it's even higher than the back of the C5. After watching the MSN video, the back is extremely unflattering from some angles, it makes the car look unfinished, sort of stubby and angular, particularly when viewed directly from the side. The C5 has a strange, big rear but the C6's rear is even stranger. It is thankfully smaller than the C5's, but the planes and curves of the rear are overly complicated, going in all kinds of directions. Oh well, maybe the car looks better in person than it does on that video.

After having my hopes raised by the spy picture of the car on the car carrier, now that it is out I have some reservations about the C-6, too, and these mainly center on the front end. I like the wide, full grill, but the headlights are a problem. I agree with those people who say they look way too much like other cars (e.g., Chrysler cars to me), and I think an interesting treatment would have been a combination of projector beams in hideaway lights-----since these projector beam lights are narrow, one styling treatment could've been to have the pop-ups be very slight (several inches) under a flat cover. A talented stylist (of which GM repeatedly proves it has none, in my opinion) could've made these look very futuristic and mean-looking.

But you know, I think the funniest thing about the C6 is how much it is trying to evoke memories of the C2s and C3s, yet trying to be an evolution of the C5 that avoids some of the problems of the C5---it's almost as if the final product is a hodgepodge of all three with nothing particularly unique of its own, except the Chrysler headlights. With all the redesigns the C6 went through this final result was predictable.
