I am getting ready to wax my 2008 corvette for the first time. I purchased the meguires microfiber towels. Are these towels allright to use or do they make some that are better. I'm just a little nervous and don't want any scratches.

Microfiber is definately the way to go. Meguires makes good stuff too, I have been using their products for several years with no complaints.

One thing about microfiber towels is that they love to hold on to stuff. So if you drop a towel on the ground, toss it in the laundry bin. And dont be afraid to use a lot of towels. When I wax my car it is not unusual to go through 3 or 4 towels when I'm wiping the wax off.

And while we are at it, I am going to move this thread over to the detailing forum. You'll probably get more replys over there, John.

I am a huge fan of quality microfiber towels. In fact, I've just restocked and bought about 20 new ones, in two different sizes. As Jason said, do not use one if it fell onto the ground! Just grab another one. Microfiber towels last quite a while if taken care of properly. I wash mine separately. Do not use fabric softener!
