I'm switching from the old style 6.70x15s to radials, and I've already gone that route on my 67. Has anyone recently bought Michelins for their 62 w/ white walls that I can see and what size and style tire did you go with? My car is white w red interior.
Thanks all,
Jim

The only Michelin I can find with a white wall is a white stripe Symmetry 225/60/16 oem on big Fords. Don't know if Diamond Back can do correct width white walls on a Michelin or not. Most guys run 205/75 or 215/65/15. Using the tire size calculators in the toolbox calculator section of the Tech Center in the header bar will help you determine what tires closely match in diameter to the original 670/15.

Thanks Tom,
After looking at a tire chart it looks like a 225/70r15 "6.3in x 27.4in" is the closest to the original dimensions of 6.7 x 27.5..Uniroyal tiger paw makes a white wall for about $120ea. That's probably what I'll go with. Diamond backs are about double that.
