Anyone know of a good source to get replacement side vent windows. Found the front windshield but the side glass is in need of replacement also. Thanks in advance.........

Try OEM glass 800-283-2122. Dunno if they've got it, but it can't hurt to ask.

Are you a member of the ncrs? definatley a great group to belong to even if you are not into the whole numbers and judging game.The are preserving and documenting the history of our cars.Anyway when you join you get copies of the above stated driveline.

I find parts for my cars all over the place.I guess the funnest is at local swap meets where a fellow like you or me is selling off some parts and you can get them affourdably. The least fun is ebay I been bidding on some parts and in the last couple of minutes some one out bids me and I miss the parts (I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS and if its a fellow forum member I am sorry for cursing at you when the auction ends It just makes me crazy But I do understand its a dog eat dog world) ther are also alot of web sites (this one included that lets you place free parts wanted adds) I had found a set of rare rare bucket seats and a console for my 1967 deville from an on line add a couple of years ago.The dealer said it was impossible to find and wanted an arm and a leg for them I found 2 set on line and both were from private guys like me NOT dealers

Yes I joined the ncrs about a year ago. They are a great organization, just sold some extra parts on the driveline myself. But havnt recieved the latest one in the mail yet, couldnt find any of the old issues laying around, god only knows where my stuff dissapears to. Was just trying for a quick fix, talked to a buddy in town today who owns a restoration shop said he had just replaced all the glass on a 64 conv. Came to just over a grand for the glass. seems awful high huh?

Funney we are discussing the drive line I just got mine today and just spent over 200.00 from one phone call I have not gone thru the entire advertizment section But I am looking tru it for your glass,I am not sure of the pricing of current glass

we also have a local car buyer and parts mag that excelllent for used parts do you have local papers as this useally hte private owners are the cheapest to purchase from.

Some thing I gave up huntinf for affourdable (my power master cylender) and paid top price thru a dealer for it and am still happy with the purchase ( I was hunting for almost 2 years )

Hey thanks. Our local papers are good for the bird cage and thats about it. Guess ill just keep looking and hopefully will find what I need someday. Kind of funny how when its something I need its worth a fortune and when Im selling its worthless. Guess im just getting used to it.
