I'm considering adding a passenger-side mirror to my mostly-stock '67 roadster. I hear this was a dealer-installed option back in the day.
Does anyone know if this kind of addition will adversely affect the car's value?
Thanks,
David

My '63 has one; it's round with a "bow tie" logo on the side opposite the glass.

Will it affect the car value? Hard to say. I would guess not, if it is installed perfectly. Maybe some more expert could speak up. Is there any way to trace whether the dealer did it in '67?

Regards,

It only matters if you're going to have the car NCRS-judged; the NCRS judging standard requires the car to be as it was built, exclusive of any owner- or dealer-inspired changes. Otherwise, be safer and add the mirror!
