Hi

What year in the C5 series did the Millennium Yellow come out?

Thanks

Alan

Alan,
I believe it was first available in 2000.
That's what the production numbers in the tech center indicate.

It was a new color for the new millennium.

Hey I've got an idea. Let's start a poll and pit millenium yellow against some of the other more popular C5 colors.........maybe not.

Remo,

I think your intelligent side wants a Millennium Yellow Corvette. :D

Later . . . . . .
6 Shooter

Millenium Yellow or Torch Red

Even though all of the colors on the C5 look good only the Yellow and Red scream for your attention.

When l'm driving and a vette is comong up from behind me l can barely see them but a red or yellow vette sure enough grabs my attention.

Now the silver and black are real neat but they are stealth colors and the white is nice but if you are going to get a vette, l want the driver looking in his rear view mirror know that l am coming.

6 Shooter

By the way your vette is gorgeous and if my dog didn't travel with me l would definitely get your color combo for sure. And l am not in love with the C6 yet so l am forced into the used market place at present and have to buy a coupe.

Alan

p.s. Where did you pick up the name 6 Shooter?

What reply !!

Are you talking about the S&W revolver K frame, neat but l like the stainless models. They are easier to clean.

Great comparison, but l still need a yellow C5.

Alan

Six Shooter

I am doing everything possible to pick up a Millenium Yellow C5. So far l have only been at this for less then a week and nothing showed up yet but when it does l will strike like a shark.

It might be a Torch Red one but l will do it for sure.

By the way l do carry a six shooter, in fact two stainless steel Rugers and my call sign is King Pin. That is why my signature says " when our trails meet"

I will take a pic and post it.

Alan

p.s If you see anything please don't be shy. In my area the big colors are black, pewter and silver and a sprinkling of white.

What a hot color !!!!!!!

I never thought of getting anything else but Torch Red, now being that my 96 torch red vette was picked up yesterday l am really going crazy to replace it.
