I would love to get a Mini-me of my 1989 Corvette Convertible but I haven't seen any Die-Casts or collectibles for that year.

Does anyone know if any exist outside of the dealer cars that they sell on E-bay?

Thanks!

Thanks, I'll look it up. :w

EttevroC,

I guess we could paint them, yours white and mine black. However you are right, if I could find a black vert, I would love it. It was simple to fine a mine- me of my trans am. They are actually easy to come by.

If you do find anything, let us know.

Craig

Hi Craig, I did look up the Franklin Mint 86 Convertible but I didn't them that much. The problem is that the angle of the windshield is not as laid back as the real vette.

I did find an other 1/24 scale 86 converts that look better, and allot cheaper, but it's going to be hard to match the 89's wheels.

What I think I might do is purchase one of these 1/24s and then a matching ZR1 and use the wheels from the ZR1, and with a custom made center cap, I'll have a good approximate of a 1989 convert. :)

I built replicas of my two Corvettes in 1/25th scale.

Yeah, I'd like to get a mini of my Nevada Silver LT-1 as well.
I've never seen another one like it in person, just in photos.
I've also been unable to find a model, or die-cast replica.
Nevada Silver and yellow (I believe) were the least popular colors in 1971,
and with so few LT-1's made, they're pretty hard to come by.
