Guys I don't see anything about fluid for a Zf6 for my LT4 any help. I saw Amsoil is 6 16 I think

Right - the same engineers that designed the roof, the electronics with the DBS, etc. With 26 TSBs and two recalls in progress I don't put much stake in anything GM says at this point.

Messing with you a little though - nothing wrong with what GM recommends for lubricants, just some of the others are probably better.

Although I do not work for GM, I have worked in design engineering for decades. The only recall I was involved with should not have been a recall. It is a long story but to keep it short, to save .50 per part or $3 per unit, they (accountants) removed the Heat Treat from bearing retaining plates. Finance had a cost target and hit it; but with an end result warranty cost of $8 million.

Engineering rescinded revision B and reinstated the original which included Heat Treat; Finance moved on to their next cost reduction project. In the future, they were a bit easier to deal with as we could remind them of their 50 cent savings.
