A C5 had this LPE body kit at Corvettes at Carlisle back in August.

I couldn't really make out the poster in Slowrides picture but I read here http://www.corvettemagazine.com/2002/august/widebody/excess-1.ASP that it produces something like 613 H.P. and 659 foot pounds of torque, both at the rear wheels. They said 0 - 60 at 2.97 and the 1/4 mile in 9.36 at 151.7 m.p.h. So no matter how ugly anyone thinks it is, it's still one bad Vette!

What a screamer. I actually like the front end of the thing with the lights like that. I think that if you combined that front end look with less overhang and curvier fenders, you'd have a helluva car.

Shades of the old "California Rake" days of the fifties(for us old farts). Lots of hike to the rear end.....shorter rear window area......not that I don't like the current C5......just that this takes it to a new level. Jim
