Most powerfull engine

It might have a few clearance issues with the wheel wells... but I think, with custom headers and fabricated engine mounts, that engine could fit in the vette...

Now for the real question!

Do you think I'd have to modify my suspension much to handle the extra few pounds?;LOL

i'll wait till the stroker version comes out :D

Perhaps another question is, how do they move it? They probably assemble it in the open hull of the ship, like they do with the reactors in nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers.

That's a BIG mutha! :D

Cool, I really have an appreciation for the size of that engine. Imagine falling into the air intake? :eek Cya, wouldn't want to be ya!

I used to work around these sizes of engines.

The ones we were playing with were Ingersol Rand's but I loved being able to jump into cylinders LOL

Bad story here though at that same job (Compression Station/Sour Gas plant)

We were all eating in the lunch trailer when there was the BANG of BANGS.

Everyone 20-30 yrs old hit the floor expecting the flame wave to kill us all

30-40 Jumped up wondering WTH was that

Everyone 40+ LAUGHED THERES ARSES OFF at us 20 yr olds

Turns out of these things BACKFIRED on intial start up!!!!!!!

I mean the coffee cups on the table jumped thats how powerful that bang was!

Thought I was dead seriously but I look back man do I laugh!

;LOL

This will show my age- but did anyone ever see a movie called "The Sand Pebbles" There was a nasty scene involving a ships mechanic and a large connecting rod.
Sure have ... several times. My lifer Navy father took me to see it in theater in about '67. McQueen plays a great role supported by a really young & alluring Candice Bergen. Yep, the the rod got the coolie when the jacking gear "failed." Found humor in McQueen's apprentice's pronuciation of "live stem." Not certain but maybe apprentice was played by "Mako?" Sand Pebbles one of my favorites. A grandfather served on USN gunboat in same area, same time. Although on entirely different nuclear/MAD/naval slant ... I recommend "On the Beach" with Greg Peck & Ava Gardner ... made about '59. They don't make em like Peck or McQueen anymore.
