welcome to CAC!!!:welcome

enjoy!!!!

many thanks guys. colour does stand out, thogh a bit of a mystery. code on car reads wa-L9192 u9192. cm name is dark smoke grey-met, though best discribed as bronze (brown) with slight metal flake, the car shows no sighns of a colour change & just having the hood (bonnet) repainted with no problem matching, the mystery lies with the fact that all the corvette ref books i own none list this paint code as a opption. can anyone help????

Hello, Mow, and welcome to the :CAC

I made a visit to the CAC's model center for MY 1989, and found these RPO codes for color on a 1989 Corvette:

RPO Exterior
10U White
20U Medium Blue Metallic
28U Dark Blue Metallic
31U Arctic Pearl*
35U Yellow* Buckskin
41U Black
68U Dark Red Metallic
81U Bright Red
90U Gray Metallic
96U Charcoal Metallic

Have a look inside your glove-box. You should find a sticker with a list of the original RPO codes. On it will be the paint color at the time your Vette left Bowling Green.
