Muffler Eliminators?

No - too loud for me. Many folks love them, but it just depends on how loud is too loud for you. I have Magnaflows....

you can vary the sound by changing the tips. larger round tips will make more sound, smaller tips less... it works like any musical instrument would. the moust sound would be round, from smaller to bigger (think megaphone).
 
I had them on my '88 convertible and loved them! Loud? It's all a matter of opinion, I guess!;)

Yes!
With cats and no mufflers. The engine sounds like a small block Chevy, which it is. When the sound gets annoying, I turn on the Bose radio.

Yes. And I have a vert. They are only loud when I hit the gas. At a cruising speed there is just a nice rumble. To Vettelt193's point above, my round tips were replaced with rectangular tips like later c4's and maybe this deadens the sound a little.
 
I may have to try that , I have round pipes . Thanks for the info .
