i have a 21/2 chambered exhaust on a 73 auto coupe & its to loud for me, i don't care for the 73 round mufflers so can i put on 1972 21/2 oval mufflers on to my existing exhaust.

I also have concern over my exhaust... right now I have just a couple of normal turbo mufflers on there until I decide on a good muffler system... I have searched the forums and i don't think anyone else appreciates a semi-quiet car? haha However even tho i am 19 year old young gun the noise doesn't impress me and I was wondering if anyone had a quieter exhaust they were using that they liked. I realize that to make it quieter you have to restrict the air, i know thats a loss of power... but I am willing to give up a little power for peace... thanks guys...
