My 73 has power brakes and when I stop quick the warning light in dash comes on. The fluid level is full, the pedal is real low. The car has new pads all around. Do I need to change the master cylinder and or the power booster? Or is this just normal. I have had the car for 2 years and no signs of external leaks. Any ideas and thanks for any replys.

It's not normal- the warning light indicates a pressure/flow imbalance between the front and rear brake systems and must be corrected. Start by bleeding the brakes, starting with the rears.

I agree - your symptoms are typical of air in the system. Do a good bleed job, starting at the point furthest from the master cylinder, and get all the air out - you'll be surprised how firm you can get that pedal..!

Bleed those brakes and if you still have the mushy pedal, you may be due for a new master.
