I want to change out the exhaust on my 04. I need more rumble than the stock offers. I want to do it just once though. I was wondering if anyone reading this post is in N.J., and has done their system. I want to hear the systems in person before I go with one. I know the subject has been beaten to death, I just wanted to hear the interiors for myself.

There are already a couple of threads here dealing with exhausts....read through them at your leisure and you will learn that ---- there are no answers unless you go in person and listen to the system you are considering.....I am too far away from you, but I can tell you from my experience on my C5 that the Corsa Indy system AND the Bassani X-pipe are a great combination and compromise between race car rasty (and there are systems out there that advertise good HP gains, but will drill ahole in the back of your head every minute you drive)and barely louder than stock (and why would anyone pay over $1300 installed to make their car sound only a couple of percentage points louder than stock?). There is just NO way to listen to all of the web sites that offer sound clips........a computer speaker cannot do them justice. If you know of any Corvette clubs in your area, contact them and go LISTEN to what you want....

I live in rockland county new york. about 30 minutes from parumus nj.

I have been stopped in my C5 so some one could here the mufflers at idle.

I am running a cat back exchaust from B&B called prts with speedway tips on our 02 with an automatic

They have a nice rumble to them like a V8 spped boat gurgling in the water but have a "fraap" noise when its shifting at full throttle that I dont like.

I am building a custom 62 that I am looking for an exchaust on and plan on going to a cruise called the wiskey cafe on saturday night to listen to some cars there.

About 3 weeks ago at this cruise there was about 5 c5 with (I think ) slp loudmouths on them making all kinds of noise as they were leaving. I dont think any one enjoyed there exit except them.the cars were LOUD and anouying.

Good luck if your near lyndhurts nj I would suggest a trip there as I am sure this guys will be back

I will be in the Trenton area next weekend I have B&B cat backs on mine, some say they are noisy, but I like them.
