[FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]Now that the recovery of the eight Corvettes is complete, the next stage of meetings have begun to determine the best plan for repairing the sinkhole. [/FONT]

[FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]All eight Corvettes are now on display, along with the 1983, in the exhibit hall. We have also added a new addition to our landscape - boulders recovered from the sinkhole. The one pictured here had been on top of the Mallet Hammer.[/FONT]

We are in the process of updating our club video in the Enthusiasts area and need your help. Please send high resolution photos to us highlighting all the great activities you do as a club. We are looking for volunteer days, car shows, philanthropy, racing, cruises, parades, etc. All photos can be sent to Katie at katie@corvettemuseum.org.

[FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]This past Saturday, eighteen members of Western Kentucky Corvette Club and forty-two members of the Circle City Corvette Club of Indianapolis came to the NCM with the sole purpose of working on projects to help the NCM. [/FONT]

So much was accomplished through their efforts from assembling member packets, landscaping, assisting with Street Survival program, disassembling the GPS exhibit and much more. Thank you so much to all the members, we couldn't do it all without the help of our great volunteers everywhere! [FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]More Interesting Sinkhole Facts[/FONT]

• [FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]Every sinkhole (in Kentucky) is part of a cave system[/FONT]
• [FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]There are 209 documented caves in Warren County[/FONT]
• [FONT=arial, helvetica, sans-serif]64 caves in the city limits of Bowling Green[/FONT]
• Traces of gypsum were found which means our cave is thousands of years old
• The current size of the space inside of the sinkhole is 2500 cubic yards
